Objectives
Objectives of the Committee are as follow :
- To provide a forum for regular contacts and cooperation between members on issues relative to the banking supervision, through regular meetings and exchange of information concerning the national supervision works ;
- To coordinate efforts done by members to develop some minimal rules to address specific difficulties of banking supervision ;
- To work, in collaboration with the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, in view to pursue and to maintain contacts and cooperation between its members and the other groups of banking supervision for the resolution of common interest questions ;
- To facilitate banking supervisors training and to supply training tools to the staff of supervision in members countries.
